Bus, taxi or boat

How do you get from Kawaguchiko Station to Oishi Park?

Without a car, take the Red Line sightseeing bus from Kawaguchiko Station: it takes about 30 minutes2. A taxi is quicker at about 15 minutes1, and a shuttle boat crosses from Funatsu pier.

The Herb Festival has ended

The Kawaguchiko Herb Festival ended as an event after the 2025 fiscal year13. You can still see lavender at Oishi Park and Yagizaki Park, just without a fixed-period festival13.

For shibazakura (moss phlox) in spring, head to the Fuji Shibazakura Festival at Fuji Motosuko Resort14; the Blue Line sightseeing bus goes to its venue5. Dates and entry are on our Fuji Shibazakura Festival guide.

Winter visits

Winter visits work if you dress for the cold and plan around shorter hours. The last boats sail earlier (see the timetable above), and the Natural Living Center closes at 17:30 from November to March15.
